25-yrs-old youth died due to overdose of drug in Kulgam | KNO

Kulgam, July 28 (KNO) : A 25-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious conditions at Okai village of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday. Reports reaching to KNO said that some locals spotted the body near the bank of Veshav Nallah at Mahabal and immediately informed police about it. Officials identified the deceased as Aashiq Hussain Dar son of Abdul Ahad Dar, a resident of Okai village of Kulgam. Talking to KNO, one the local said prevailing situation in Okai village of Kulgam alleged that forces have been given free hand to drug paddlers. A police officer confirming the incident to KNO said that preliminary investigation suggests that the youth died due to overdose of drugs.(KNO)
